Manager (Accounts, Finance Cost & Budget)

Job Description / Responsibility

  • Oversee and manage the company's cost and budget functions within the Accounts and Finance Department.
  • Prepare and monitor annual budgets, forecasts, and financial plans in line with organizational objectives.
  • Conduct variance analysis of budgeted vs. actual performance and provide management with insights for decision-making.
  • Develop, implement, and monitor cost control measures across departments to ensure efficiency and profitability.
  • Prepare cost sheets, product costing, and margin analysis for management review.
  • Support financial statement preparation with emphasis on cost and budget reporting.
  • Ensure compliance with accounting standards, internal policies, and regulatory requirements.
  • Coordinate with different departments to ensure accurate budgeting and cost allocation.
  • Provide regular financial and cost analysis reports to top management.
  • Assist in strategic planning, investment appraisal, and financial risk assessment.

Educational Requirements

  • Masters
  • Master's degree from any recognized university.
  • CMA (Partly Qualified).

Experience Requirements

  • 2 to 3 year(s)
  • The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s):
  • Audit Firms /Tax Consultant

Additional Requirements

  • Minimum 2–3 years' practical experience in Accounts and Finance including cost and budget management.
  • Experience in group of companies or large-scale enterprises will be given preference.
  • Strong knowledge of budgeting, cost accounting, and management reporting.
  • Proficiency in ERP/accounting software (Tally, SAP, Oracle, or similar), MS Excel, and financial modeling.
  • Strong analytical, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and report writing skills in English and Bangla.
  • Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines, and lead a team efficiently.
