About the Role:

BRAC International (BI) is seeking a Lead for ERP Project who is aligned with it's ethos of working in partnership with communities to create impact for scale.The incumbent will lead and oversee the successful implementation of an Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system across BRAC International's Head Office, Regional Offices, and country operations. This role is responsible for ensuring the project is delivered on time, within budget, and meets the specified scope and quality standards. The Lead, ERP Project will serve as the central point of contact for all project-related activities, from planning and execution to monitoring and closing. S/he will also ensure that the core values and mission of BI are upheld, promoted, followed, and applied across Technology team at BRAC International.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the full lifecycle of ERP deployment starting from planning and design to configuration, testing, rollout, and post-implementation support, ensuring alignment with organisational goals.
  • Develop and execute a comprehensive implementation roadmap with clear milestones, dependencies, and timelines across HO, RO, and Country Offices and a robust project plan, including scope, objectives, deliverables, timelines, and resource allocation.
  • Facilitate cross-functional collaboration with Finance, HR, Procurement, IT teams across HO, RO, and Country Offices.
  • Manage relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including senior leadership, country teams, vendors, and consultants, to ensure shared understanding and buy-in.
  • Oversee contracts, deliverables, and performance of ERP vendors and implementation partners, ensuring accountability and timely resolution of issues.
  • Lead stakeholder consultations to gather requirements, manage expectations, and ensure alignment with business needs.
  • Design and implement change management plans, including stakeholder communication, training, and user engagement, to support smooth adoption of the ERP system.
  • Identify opportunities to standardize and streamline business processes across countries, balancing local needs with global consistency.
  • Ensure data integrity, security, and compliance with internal policies and external regulations.
  • Set up decision-making frameworks, escalation protocols, and reporting mechanisms to ensure transparency and accountability throughout the project.
  • Coordinate training programs for end-users, super-users, and system administrators, ensuring readiness and confidence in using the new system.
  • Work with security and compliance teams to ensure the ERP system adheres to internal policies, cybersecurity protocols, and relevant regulatory requirements.
  • Monitor progress against defined KPIs such as milestone achievement, user adoption, data quality, and stakeholder satisfaction, and report regularly to leadership.
  • Identify and assemble risk management plans and work effort documents and follow project management standards to manage projects throughout the project lifecycles.
  • Lead efforts to map, cleanse, and migrate legacy data into the ERP system, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and compliance with data governance standards.
  • Plan and execute phased deployments across countries, tailoring implementation support based on local readiness, infrastructure, and staffing.
  • Provide oversight during the stabilisation phase, ensuring timely resolution of issues, system optimisation, and continuous improvement.

Safeguarding Responsibilities:

  • Implement programme decisions keeping the safety and dignity of programme participants/clients at the center, mitigate safeguarding risks and contribute to a safe working environment where staff are respected and feel confident to voice concerns without fear of retaliation.
  • Receive mandatory training on the safeguarding policies and reporting channels and have access to policies.
  • Participate in discussions on the safeguarding agenda in monthly meetings and actively voice concerns without fear.
  • Report safeguarding incidents witnessed or experiences to the Safeguarding department. For known cases, maintain neutrality, be sensitive and non-judgemental to victims/survivors, and cooperate with organisational investigations providing accurate information as needed.

Academic Qualifications:

Bachelor's/ Master's degree from a reputed university preferably in Computer Science/ Information Technology/ or other relevant disciplines.

Experience Requirements:

  • Minimum 07 of project management experience, with at least 03 years leading ERP implementations (preferably in INGO or multi-country settings).
  • Proven track record of leading end to end delivery of large-scale technology initiatives, from concept to deployment, ensuring quality, timeliness, and cost efficiency.
  • Experience in managing cross functional teams and working with diverse stakeholders, including internal functions, external partners, and vendors, in multi country or multicultural environments.
  • Experience working in an Agile/ Scrum development process.

Required Skills, Competencies & Knowledge:

  • Strong understanding of ERP systems (e.g., Microsoft Dynamics, SAP, Oracle, or similar) and knowledge of project management methodologies.
  • Clear and concise business requirements/ specifications writing skills.
  • Excellent verbal communication skills to build strong engagement with IT team and cross functional stakeholders.
  • Fluency in English is essential.
  • Impressive leadership skills to motivate and guide project team members. Ensure everyone remains productive and gets projects done on time.
  • Manage relationship with key stakeholders internally as well as interface with third-party contractors, partners, vendors and consultants.
  • Focus on improving decision-making and organisational abilities to help effectively self-manage your workload. Manage multiple projects at once while still meeting deadlines and presenting innovative products.
  • Strong background in technology governance, IT operations, and systems implementation within complex organisational structures.
  • Familiarity with finance, HR, procurement, and programme operations in development sector contexts.
  • Analytical mindset with problem-solving orientation and adept at budget management and delivering value for money in technology investments.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and change management skills to influence all organisational levels.
  • Manage and ensure of the IT compliance, service management, ownership of issue resolution and change management of all IT projects.
  • Vendor Certification in IT and Project Management (PMP/ Prince2 certification is highly desirable).
  • Mobile and flexible mindset to travel to project site when required.
  • Flexible to work from distant location.
  • Overseeing and travel to project site when required.
  • Possess high ethical and moral standards.
