Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Fire Protection System – Service & Project Engineer located in Dhaka. The role involves planning, designing, and overseeing the installation and maintenance of fire protection systems. Day-to-day responsibilities include preparing project proposals, conducting site inspections, troubleshooting and repairing fire protection systems, coordinating with installation teams, and ensuring compliance with safety and regulatory standards. The engineer will also liaise with clients to address their needs and provide expert solutions while managing project timelines effectively.

Qualifications

  • Strong understanding of fire protection systems design, installation, and maintenance
  • Proficiency in troubleshooting and repairing technical issues with fire and security systems
  • Project management skills, including planning, scheduling, and meeting deadlines
  • Knowledge of safety regulations and compliance standards for fire protection systems
  • Excellent communication and client management skills
  • Experience in conducting site inspections and preparing detailed technical reports
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and vendors
  • Minimum bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field
  • Professional certification in fire safety or related discipline is a plus
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Office, and relevant system design tools is an advantage
