Role Description

We are seeking a
Senior MSP System Administrator
with
10+ years of hands-on technical support and systems administration experience
, particularly in
MSP environments
. This role requires a seasoned IT professional who can manage
multi-client infrastructures
, implement robust security practices, and proactively monitor systems to prevent issues before they arise.

You will manage complex IT infrastructures across
Microsoft 365, Intune, Azure, Google Workspace
, and
enterprise network environments
, leveraging
RMM, SOC, SIEM, and monitoring tools
to ensure high availability, security, and client satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

Client & Systems Management

• Serve as the primary technical contact for multiple MSP clients, ensuring
  uptime, performance, and client satisfaction
  .
• Plan and implement system upgrades, migrations, and deployments across cloud and on-premises environments.
• Provide
  Tier 3 technical support
  for escalated client issues involving servers, networking, and cloud systems.

Network Administration & Security

• Configure, monitor, and troubleshoot routers, switches, firewalls, and VPNs.
• Implement and maintain cybersecurity and compliance frameworks, including
  SOC monitoring, SIEM platforms (e.g., Splunk, SentinelOne), and endpoint protection solutions
  .
• Conduct network performance tuning and security audits.

Cloud & Endpoint Management

• Manage and secure client environments in
  Microsoft 365, Azure AD, Intune, and SharePoint Online
  .
• Administer
  Google Workspace
  accounts, security settings, and migrations.
• Configure, deploy, and manage client endpoints using
  RMM tools
  such as
  ConnectWise Automate, Datto RMM, or SolarWinds N-central
  for patching, monitoring, and proactive maintenance.

Monitoring & Proactive Support

• Utilize
  RMM platforms, monitoring dashboards, and SOC tools
  to detect, analyze, and resolve incidents proactively.
• Develop and maintain client-specific
  alerting, dashboards, and automated reporting
  .
• Maintain documentation and SOPs for system configurations, alerts, and incident resolution.

Backup, Recovery & Continuity

• Implement
  SaaS and on-premise backup solutions
  (e.g., Veeam, Datto Backup) ensuring reliable data protection and business continuity.
• Develop, test, and maintain
  disaster recovery plans
  and incident response procedures.

Mentoring & Process Improvement

• Mentor junior IT staff and contribute to process and workflow optimizations for MSP operations.

Qualifications

• 10+ years
  of experience in
  technical support, system/network administration
  , preferably in
  MSP environments
  .
• Hands-on experience with
  RMM tools (ConnectWise, Datto RMM, SolarWinds), SOC monitoring, SIEM (Splunk, SentinelOne), and network monitoring solutions
  .
• Deep expertise with:
• Microsoft 365 / Azure AD / Intune / SharePoint
• Windows Server (2012–2022)
  and
  Active Directory
• Networking (LAN/WAN, VPN, firewalls, VLANs)
• Google Workspace administration
• SaaS backup and disaster recovery solutions
  (Veeam, Datto, Acronis)
• Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and documentation skills.
• Excellent client-facing communication and time management abilities.
• Relevant certifications preferred:
  Microsoft, CompTIA, Cisco, ITIL, SOC-related certifications
  .
