We are seeking a Product Manager / Business Analyst to help us organize and prioritize our projects, translate business requirements into technical context, and ensure our engineers have clarity on what to build and why. You will work directly with the CEO and engineering teams to align product development with business goals.

Responsibilities

  • Gather and analyze business requirements from leadership, customers, and partners.
  • Translate requirements into clear product specifications, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
  • Own and maintain the product backlog, ensuring priorities align with business objectives.
  • Define and update the product roadmap, balancing quick wins with long-term strategy.
  • Coordinate with engineers to ensure scope, deliverables, and timelines are clear.
  • Track project progress, highlight risks, and communicate status to stakeholders.
  • Collect customer and market feedback to refine product direction.
  • Introduce light but effective documentation and reporting processes for better visibility.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience as a Product Manager, Business Analyst, or related role (preferably in SaaS or cybersecurity).
  • Strong ability to communicate with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Experience writing detailed user stories, requirements, and project documentation.
  • Familiarity with tools like GitHub, Jira, or Microsoft Planner.
  • Highly organized, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Comfortable working in a lean, entrepreneurial environment with limited resources.
  • Bonus: Knowledge of cybersecurity, APAC regulatory frameworks, or bilingual ability (Japanese/English).
