Parent Engagement & Events Executive

Job Description / Responsibility

Universal College Bangladesh (UCBD) is an STS Group venture. UCBD is Bangladesh's first and only Ministry of Education-approved international higher education provider. With a state-of-the-art campus in the heart of Dhaka city, UCBD is the nation's premier transnational in-country higher education provider delivering world-leading university programs.

With established market leadership, Universal College offers full degrees from the University of London under the academic direction of the London School of Economics, full degrees from the University of Lancashire, pathway programmes to Monash University Australia and Malaysia, international foundation programmes, with more programmes being launched in 2026. In this context, UCBD is seeking a highly competent professional for this position.

Major Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain strong, positive relationships with parents and guardians.
  • Support student engagement by communicating academic progress and pathways to parents.
  • Develop and implement parent engagement initiatives, events, and enrichment programs.
  • Plan and coordinate key institutional events including orientation, graduation convocation, and parent meetings.
  • Promote UCBD through communication channels such as newsletters, social media, and outreach campaigns.
  • Gather feedback through surveys and engagement sessions to improve services and stakeholder satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with academic, enrolment, and administrative teams to ensure smooth delivery of parent and student events.

Educational Requirements

Bachelor's degree from a reputed institution with excellent command of English (spoken and written).

Experience Requirements

  • At least 5 year(s)
  • The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s):

Additional Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in student counselling, preferably within an educational institution or international university.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and persuasive communication skills.
  • Proven ability to collaborate and thrive in a team-oriented environment.
  • Passionate about student counselling and committed to helping students make informed academic choices.
  • Familiarity with CRM/ERP systems and digital engagement platforms.
