Senior Systems Engineer Unix

Join a high-impact team driving enterprise-grade infrastructure excellence.

We are seeking a seasoned Senior IT Infrastructure Engineer/System Engineer with over 5 years of hands-on experience in managing and optimizing complex IT environments. This role is ideal for a proactive and technically adept professional who thrives in dynamic settings and is passionate about delivering robust, scalable infrastructure solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead configuration, deployment, and administration of Oracle SPARC systems (T7, T8, M-series) and Solaris OS environments.

  • Architect and manage high-performance Oracle Exadata (X8M/X9M) platforms, ensuring optimal database throughput and availability.

  • Oversee integrated infrastructure operations for Oracle SuperCluster M7, including virtualization, storage, and middleware layers.

  • Design and implement enterprise-grade backup and recovery strategies using Oracle ZDLRA, ensuring zero data loss compliance.

  • Perform system health checks, patch management, and performance tuning across all Oracle hardware platforms.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support mission-critical applications and ensure infrastructure scalability.

  • Document configurations, SOPs, and disaster recovery plans; provide mentorship and training to junior admins.

What We're Looking For:

Proven expertise in IT infrastructure (5+ years).

Deep understanding of Unix systems and architecture. Oracle Database .

Strong multitasking and organizational abilities.

Fluent in English (written and verbal).

Analytical mindset with a collaborative spirit.

Experience with Oracle servers and Solaris (preferred).

Certifications such as Red Hat or VMware (a plus).

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Engineering (preferred
