Power System Development Company Ltd. (PSDC), with 25 years of experience in the Power Sector, is a reputed private construction company in Bangladesh. PSDC specializes in the construction of substations, both Civil and Electrical, and has successfully completed various high-voltage projects. Recent notable projects include engineering and testing for prestigious 400/230 KV substations. PSDC also undertakes automation and communication projects, particularly in the Distributed Control System of Power Plants. As a prime contractor, PSDC is establishing its base in Turnkey projects.

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and motivated
DCS Service Engineer
to join our industrial process automation team in Dhaka. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in
Electrical and Electronic Engineering
with hands-on experience in
industrial control systems
, particularly DCS and PLC platforms. The role involves system configuration, troubleshooting, maintenance, and customer support across various industrial environments with key focus in thermal power plants.

Key Responsibilities:

●    Install, configure, and maintain
Distributed Control Systems (DCS)
and
Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs)
at customer sites.

●    Perform system diagnostics, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis for control system-related issues.

●    Conduct regular maintenance and system health checks for clients.

●    Support integration and communication between control systems and other industrial networks.

●    Collaborate with overseas partners' engineering and project teams for control system upgrades or new installations.

●    Provide training and technical support to end-users and maintenance teams.

●    Prepare technical reports, documentation, and service logs.

●    Ensure all work complies with safety, quality, and regulatory standards.

Minimum Requirements:

●    
Bachelor's degree (B.Sc.)
in
Electrical and Electronic Engineering (EEE)
from a recognized institution.

●    
2+ years of hands-on experience
with
industrial control systems
such as
DCS and PLCs
.

●    Strong understanding of
Automation Control Logic
,
Electrical SLD
,
System
and
Network architecture
, Control Panel
GA
and
wiring diagrams
including power distribution and earthing.

●    Ability to read and understand P&ID diagrams, open- and closed-loop processes.

●    Strong knowledge of
networking protocols
, especially
TCP/IP
and
Modbus
.

●    Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

●    Good understanding of
Windows Server operating systems
.

●    Proficient communication skills in English.

●    Need to travel to customer sites as required.

Preferred Qualifications (Optional but a Plus):

●    Knowledge of cybersecurity principles in industrial control environments.

●    Prior experience in a customer-facing service or support role.
