Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Administrator (System & Network) with a strong background in DevOps, Cloud Infrastructure, System Administration, and Network Security. The ideal candidate will play a key role in designing, deploying, and maintaining scalable systems and networks, ensuring high availability, security, and performance across both on-premise and cloud-based environments (primarily Azure).

Key Responsibilities:

  1. DevOps & Automation

  2. Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitHub Actions, and Argo CD.

  3. Deploy and manage containerized applications with Docker & Kubernetes (K8s) ensuring scalability and reliability.
  4. Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration management with Ansible and Bash scripting.

  5. Implement GitOps-based deployments with Argo CD and Helm charts.

  6. Cloud Infrastructure & System Administration

  7. Manage Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) for workload orchestration, scaling, and troubleshooting.

  8. Administer Azure resources: Virtual Machines, VM Scale Sets, Storage, Networking, and Monitoring.
  9. Manage Azure Container Registry (ACR) for secure container image storage and deployments.
  10. Oversee managed databases (Azure PostgreSQL, MySQL).
  11. Configure and maintain Azure VPN Gateway and Application Gateway (Ingress + WAF).

  12. Ensure data protection & disaster recovery with Azure Backup.

  13. Monitoring & Performance

  14. Monitor systems and application health using Grafana, ELK Stack, Checkmk, and Uptime-Kuma.

  15. Optimize Kubernetes workloads and proactively resolve cluster/network issues.

  16. Ensure high availability, performance optimization, and proactive incident resolution.

  17. Security & Compliance

  18. Perform Linux system hardening (CIS benchmarks) to improve system security posture.

  19. Implement IAM & RBAC for secure access and proper permissions management.
  20. Utilize Wazuh SIEM for continuous security monitoring, log analysis, and incident response.
  21. Enforce secure communications with VPN Gateway, Application Gateway (WAF), and NSGs.
  22. Apply container security best practices in line with CIS Kubernetes & Docker benchmarks.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
  • 6–7 years of proven experience in System & Network Administration, DevOps, and Cloud Infrastructure
  • Strong expertise in Linux/Unix system administration
  • Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Argo CD)
  • Proficiency in Docker & Kubernetes (AKS preferred)
  • Solid knowledge of Azure services (VMs, VMSS, Storage, Networking, ACR, Application Gateway, Backup, Monitor)
  • Experience in infrastructure automation (Ansible, Bash scripting)
  • Strong background in network administration (VPN, Firewall, NSGs, Load Balancing)
  • Experience managing managed databases (Azure PostgreSQL, MySQL)
  • Knowledge of monitoring tools (Grafana, ELK Stack, Checkmk, Uptime-Kuma)
  • Familiarity with security practices (IAM, RBAC, SIEM/Wazuh, CIS benchmarks)
  • Strong problem-solving, troubleshooting, and analytical skills
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills

Preferred Certifications:

  • Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator / Azure Solutions Architect.
  • Kubernetes Administrator (CKA).
  • Red Hat Certified Engineer (RHCE).
  • Security certifications (e.g., CompTIA Security+, CISSP, AZ-500).
