System Engineer

Job Description / Responsibility

  • Oversee daily operation of IT systems, Water ATMs, networks, and applications to ensure maximum uptime and performance.
  • Monitor system health, identify potential risks, and take proactive measures to minimize downtime.
  • Implement processes for incident detection, escalation, and resolution.
  • Allocate tasks, monitor workloads, and support staff development
  • Define, document, and enforce operational standards, procedures, and SLAs
  • Drive automation and efficiency in system monitoring, reporting, and maintenance.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (IT, product, customer support) to enhance service delivery.
  • Prepare regular reports on system performance, incidents, uptime, and resource utilization.
  • Provide insights and recommendations to leadership for process improvements and cost optimization.
  • Ensure systems are compliant with organizational policies, data protection laws, and industry regulations.

  • Manage relationships with third-party service providers, ensuring compliance with contracts and SLAs.
  • Act as a point of escalation for stakeholders regarding system-related issues

Educational Requirements

  • Bachelor in Engineering (BEngg) in Electrical & Electronic Engineering
  • Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Computer Science & Engineering
  • Bachelor's degree in EEE, Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
  • Skills Required: SQL Database, Microsoft Excel, HTTP, C++programing

Experience Requirements

  • At least 5 year(s)
  • The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): Manufacturing (FMCG), Multinational Companies, Mineral Water

Additional Requirements

  • Strategic thinking with hands-on execution.
  • Strong problem-solving, analytical, and decision-making skills.
  • Excellent communication and leadership abilities.

Technical Skills:

  • Familiarity with IoT architecture, protocols (e.g., MQTT, CoAP, HTTP), and device-to-cloud communication.
  • Knowledge of data transmission, device connectivity, and sensor integration concepts.
  • Understanding of authentication mechanisms (API keys)
  • Strong knowledge of C++ for system-level programming, optimization, and hardware/software interfacing.
  • Solid experience with SQL for database design, query optimization, and data management.
