Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Water Supply Specialist/Team Leader located in Khulna, Bangladesh. The role involves overseeing water supply projects, ensuring efficient procurement and supply chain management, and supporting project teams with analytical and communication skills. The specialist will be responsible for project planning, execution, and reporting to ensure the successful delivery of water supply initiatives.

Qualifications

The water supply specialist/team leader will have a
master's degree in water supply/environment/civil engineering
or relevant disciplines with more than
20 years' working experience in water supply projects,
including
15 years' experience in design or supervision of water supply projects.
She/he will have at least
10 years of international experience in water supply projects,
preferably with proven work experience and skills in a similar position in Bangladesh and/or in South Asian countries. She/he will have working experience as a Team Leader (TL) in a minimum of
1 similar project.
Work experiences in the project funded by international development partners, including ADB, would be preferable. She/he should have good communication skills, be familiar with participatory approaches to project design and implementation, and be able to assist in the capacity building and training program.
