Key Responsibilities:
1. Trust Account Oversight & Management:
  • Establish, maintain, and operate Trust Cum Settlement Accounts (TCSA) in line with BB circular no. 06/2021.
  • Opening TCSA account , obtain regulatory permission and selecting banks.
  • Ensure the Trust Fund balance is always equal to or greater than the outstanding customer liability at each day-end.
  • Reconcile daily balances between operational, trust, and settlement accounts.
2. Regulatory Compliance:
  • Ensure full compliance with Bangladesh Bank's guidelines on Trust Fund management.
  • Liaise with scheduled commercial banks and Bangladesh Bank for TCSA-related approvals, reporting, and audits.
  • Coordinate submission of all required reports, certifications, and disclosures to the regulator in a timely manner.
3. Audit & Reporting:
  • Implement robust internal control and audit mechanisms related to trust account management.
  • Work with external Chartered Accountant firms for annual trust audit and ensure timely submission to Bangladesh Bank.
  • Maintain accurate records for all liabilities, transactions, and interest/income derived from the Trust Fund.
4. Fund Management:
  • Oversee investments of idle trust funds in FDR or other approved instruments as per regulatory instructions.
  • Track maturity and ensure timely credit of funds back into TCSA.
5. Governance & Risk:
  • Maintain segregation of operational and trust funds; prevent co-mingling.
  • Monitor AML/CFT compliance in relation to all trust account transactions.
  • Mitigate operational, financial, and reputational risks associated with customer fund management.
Experience Requirements:
  • Must have at least 5–8 years of experience in financial operations, treasury, or settlement functions in banks, MFS/PSP/PSO, or fintech industry.
  • Must have Experience handling trust or escrow accounts, TCSA, or regulated financial settlements is preferred
