DB E&C is seeking for a
Maintenance Support & Training Specialist
(f/m/d)
for an upcoming bid/project in
Dhaka, Bangladesh
. The project duration will be 24 months and on-site.

It is a "Consutruction Supervision Consultant" project for the
Dhaka Mass Rapid Transit Development Investment Project (Line - 5): Southern route.
The project includes a 17.2 km metro line consisting of 13.1 km underground and 4.1 km elevated alignment with 11 undergroung and 4 elevated stations.

Responsibilities and Tasks in Detail:

  • Report to the Chief Resident Engineer (Railway System)
  • Implement operations and maintenance strategies for rail and transit systems, including planning and scheduling of maintenance activities and asset management
  • Accountable for continuous improvement and planning of preventive and corrective maintenance activities to meet train availability for service requirements
  • Help create, plan, and run training programs for the Clients and related team members

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant Engineering discipline or related subject.
  • 12 years of professional experience.
  • 8 years of experience in rail-bound system projects.
  • 1 project (Outside expert's country and/or Multilateral Development Banks (MDB)/Development Partner funded).
  • English Proficiency:certification required for the non-English speaking countries, demonstrating the candidate's experience in an English-speaking work environment or educational background will be acceptable.
