Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role based in Dhaka, Bangladesh, for a Head of Corporate and Industrial Sales in the lubricants business. The individual will oversee strategic sales and business development for corporate and industrial clients, ensure targets are met, and establish long-term relationships with key customers. Responsibilities include developing sales strategies, managing account portfolios, driving revenue growth, and leading a sales team to achieve consistent performance. Collaboration with internal stakeholders to align sales efforts with company objectives is also integral to the role.

Key responsibilities

  • Strategy and planning:
    Develop and implement comprehensive sales strategies and forecasts to achieve revenue and profitability goals.
  • Sales team leadership:
    Lead, coach, and motivate a sales team to drive performance and ensure consistent achievement of targets.
  • Business development:
    Identify and pursue new corporate and industrial clients, conduct market research, and monitor market trends and competitor activity.
  • Client relationship management:
    Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key accounts, distributors, and industry stakeholders.
  • Negotiation and closing:
    Negotiate contracts and close deals to secure new business and expand market share.
  • Collaboration:
    Work closely with internal teams, including marketing, product development, and supply chain, to align sales efforts with overall business objectives.
  • Reporting and analysis:
    Prepare sales reports, forecasts, and performance analysis for senior management.
  • Technical expertise:
    Provide technical support and present product solutions to customers, highlighting the benefits and applications of various lubricants.

Required skills and qualifications

  • Proven track record in corporate or industrial sales, ideally within the lubricants sector.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent strategic planning, market analysis, and negotiation abilities.
  • Strong business development and client relationship management skills.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency with sales reporting and CRM software.
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., business, engineering) is often preferred.
