𝐉𝐨𝐛 𝐒𝐮𝐦𝐦𝐚𝐫𝐲

We are looking for an experienced Deputy Manager/Manager, Warehouse & Logistics to lead end-to-end warehouse operations, inventory control, and logistics management. The role offers the opportunity to drive efficiency, optimize costs, and mentor a high performing team while ensuring smooth, timely, and quality deliveries across our network.

𝐃𝐮𝐭𝐢𝐞𝐬 & 𝐑𝐞𝐬𝐩𝐨𝐧𝐬𝐢𝐛𝐢𝐥𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐞𝐬:

Strategy and Development:

Contribute to the creation and implementation of best practice logistics operation vision, strategy, policies, processes, procedures to aid and improve operational performance.

𝐈𝐧𝐯𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐨𝐫𝐲:

1.   Oversee the weekly stock reports

2.   Keep track of damage reports for unloaded containers and prepare the warehouse reports

3.   Compare, register, prepare inventories in warehouse against the software stock list and follow-up the discrepancies

4.   Review the stock reports with SCM once a month at Corporate Office to add material in transit and double-check in SAP Software

5.   Prepare the inventory of Dhaka Showrooms

6.   Monitor the inventory of CTG showroom from the CTG sales team and register it to the software

7.   Prepare, check and verify annual stock reports in conjunction with SCM

𝐋𝐨𝐠𝐢𝐬𝐭𝐢𝐜𝐬 & 𝐃𝐞𝐥𝐢𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐢𝐞𝐬:

1.   Plan, manage and evaluate logistics operations liaising with internal stakeholders, suppliers, logistics providers, transportation companies and customers

2.   Create and implement best practice logistics principles, policies, and processes across the organization to improve operational and financial performance

3.   Deliver solutions to logistics problems while maintaining high levels of quality and service within budgetary requirements

4.   Monitor quality, quantity, delivery times, and transport costs

5.   Supervise and monitor high value deliveries at sites and ensure smooth operations

6.   Resolve problems concerning transportation and logistics systems

7.   Assess and make recommendations for logistics processes at all sites and advise of cost implications and efficiency

8.   Support continuous improvement initiatives and identify inefficiencies and cost

optimization opportunities

9.   Identify savings by removing waste or unnecessary steps in the logistics process

10. Ensure metrics, reports, and process documentation is available

𝐏𝐞𝐨𝐩𝐥𝐞 𝐌𝐚𝐧𝐚𝐠𝐞𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭:

1.   Manage, coach, and develop a high performing team that meets agreed objectives and delivers best practice results, added value and continuous improvements

2.   Achieve departmental objectives/KPIs and review and assess ongoing performance of direct reports

3.   Report on achievement of targets and identify any actions required

4.   Ensure that all functions under supervision operate in accordance with health, safety and environmental policies and procedures to ensure the safety and wellbeing of staff and visitors

𝐒𝐤𝐢𝐥𝐥𝐬 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐀𝐭𝐭𝐫𝐢𝐛𝐮𝐭𝐞𝐬:

· Proven management skills with the ability to optimize team performance and development

· Strong knowledge of inventory control, distribution, logistics, and vehicle operations.

· Candidates with prior experience of working with SAP Software will be prioritized

· Strong interpersonal, negotiation and influencing skills

· Proven analytical, problem solving and organizational skills

· Excellent attention to detail

Job Nature:
Full time from Saturday to Thursday (6 days a week)
