Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for an Articled Student/Trainee Assistant/Assistant/Deputy Manager/Manager at Iqbal Ujjal & Co., Chartered Accountants, located in Dhaka, Bangladesh. The candidate will be responsible for managing day-to-day operations of auditing and accounting functions, overseeing financial reporting, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, and coordinating with clients. The role also includes preparing and reviewing financial statements, identifying and resolving financial discrepancies, and supporting the senior management team in strategic planning and business development activities.

Qualifications

  • Accounting, Auditing, and Financial Reporting skills
  • Knowledge of regulatory standards and compliance requirements
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
  • Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Experience in the professional services sector is a plus
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance with part qualified professional certification (e.g. CA, CMA, ACCA) is preferred
