Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role located in Dhaka, Bangladesh for an Engineer, Security Operations. The role involves monitoring and managing an organization's security infrastructure, identifying and mitigating security threats, performing vulnerability assessments, and ensuring compliance with security policies. Daily tasks include application and network security evaluations, incident response, threat analysis, and implementing security best practices.

Job Title: Cyber Security Engineer

Department: Security Operations

Responsibility

  • Conduct penetration testing across web, mobile, network, API, and cloud environments.
  • Perform vulnerability assessments using tools such as Nessus, Qualys, and Burp Suite.
  • Develop and maintain Security tools and processes.
  • Prepare professional technical and executive security reports.
  • Collaborate with team members to enhance security posture and promote continuous improvement.

Requirements

  • B.SC. in Computer Science & Engineering or related fields.
  • ⁠Minimum 1 year of professional experience in the field of cybersecurity/System Engineer; however, fresh graduates with strong technical aptitude are also encouraged to apply.
  • ⁠Solid technical knowledge of computer networking and Linux-based systems administration.
  • ⁠Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with the capability to identify, assess, and resolve security issues effectively.
  • ⁠Highly detail-oriented, with a commitment to accuracy, professionalism, and delivering high-quality outputs within defined timelines.
