Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for an Assistant Vice President (AVP) located in Dhaka, Bangladesh. The Assistant Vice President will be responsible for overseeing and managing core banking operations and ensuring superior service delivery. Key duties include developing and implementing strategic plans, leading teams to meet organizational goals, relationship building with key stakeholders, analyzing financial data, overseeing compliance with regulatory requirements, and ensuring the overall profitability of allocated operations. The AVP will also work to nurture professional development within the team and contribute to the institution's broader objectives.

Qualifications

  • Proficiency in strategic planning, financial analysis, and business operations management
  • Strong skills in leadership, team building, and employee development
  • Experience with banking processes, risk management, and compliance with regulatory standards
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship management abilities
  • Understanding of advanced banking technologies and digital banking innovations is an advantage
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making capabilities
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field; MBA or equivalent qualification is preferred
  • Prior experience in a management role within the banking or financial services sector
