Job Brief:

Silicornya Ltd. is seeking a talented and experienced Senior UI/UX Designer to join our dynamic team. As a senior member of our design team, you will collaborate with product managers, engineers, and developers to create visually captivating and user-friendly software products. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills to delegate tasks effectively, stay updated with industry trends, and implement cutting-edge design solutions.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with product managers and engineers to gather and evaluate user requirements.
  • Create design concepts using storyboards, process flows, and sitemaps.
  • Design intuitive graphic user interface elements such as menus, tabs, and widgets.
  • Develop page navigation buttons and search fields for a seamless user experience.
  • Produce UI mockups and prototypes to demonstrate product functionality and aesthetics.
  • Generate original graphic designs including images, sketches, and tables.
  • Present design drafts to internal teams and key stakeholders for feedback.
  • Address and resolve client or stakeholder concerns and feedback professionally.
  • Identify and troubleshoot UX problems to enhance product usability.
  • Adjust layouts based on user feedback and adhere to style standards.

Requirements and Skills:

  • Strong learning capability and adaptability.
  • 3-5 years of proven experience in UI/UX design.
  • Understanding of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
  • Good knowledge of Empathy and Interaction design.
  • Portfolio showcasing design projects for web and mobile platforms.
  • Proficiency in wireframe tools and graphic design software (e.g., Adobe XD, Figma).
  • Up-to-date knowledge of design software like Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop.
  • Excellent teamwork and communication skills to collaborate with stakeholders.
  • Effective time-management abilities.
  • Bachelor's degree in Design, Computer Science, or related field.
  • Intermediate/advanced English reading, writing, and listening skills.
  • Exceptional UI/UX and graphic design skills (Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) skill level or equivalent).
