Key Responsibilities

  • Researching and evaluating potential vendors and suppliers
  • Requesting quotes and comparing prices to maximize return on investment
  • Estimating and establishing cost parameters and purchasing budgets
  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with vendors and suppliers
  • Negotiating contracts for pricing, supply terms, and delivery schedules
  • Reviewing products and supplies to ensure quality standards
  • Tracking incoming inventory and monitoring delivery timelines
  • Maintaining and updating supplier databases, invoices, and delivery records
  • Collaborating across departments to plan future purchasing needs
  • Analyzing vendor performance and sourcing options for long-term requirements
  • Ensuring all deliveries meet requested specifications
  • Coordinating with finance teams on contracts, invoicing, and compliance
  • Sourcing products from a variety of vendors at optimal pricing
  • Developing and monitoring standard operating procedures for purchasing
  • Performing other procurement-related duties as assigned

What We're Looking For

  • Solid knowledge and understanding of purchasing processes, policies, and systems
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to negotiate, establish, and manage contracts
  • Proven ability to multitask, prioritize responsibilities, and manage time effectively
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Familiarity with contract laws and the ability to assess compliance and product/service quality
  • Capacity to foster a cooperative and collaborative work environment
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
