Our client is a leading Norwegian-headquartered software company specializing in managing and maintaining safety data sheets (SDS) across a wide range of industries. Their extensive database contains over 14 million safety data sheets, requiring regular updates from various manufacturers. They utilize advanced technologies and innovative solutions to ensure the accuracy and currency of this critical information.

Role Overview
We are looking for a Backlink / Outreach Specialist who also has experience in community engagement to build high-quality backlinks and increase our visibility across web communities. Your primary goal is to drive organic growth by acquiring contextual, high-authority backlinks through outreach, guest posting, and engagement on platforms like Reddit, Quora, and niche forums.

Key Responsibilities

Link Building & Outreach

  • Plan and execute targeted outreach campaigns to secure backlinks via guest posting, broken link building, resource pages, and unlinked brand mentions etc.
  • Identify link-building opportunities via competitor backlink analysis, content gap analysis, and PR.
  • Manage guest post placements, broken link building, and niche edits.
  • Outreach content assets (blogs, tools, infographics, guides) to relevant websites, bloggers, and publishers for link placement.
  • Track outreach performance using tools like Ahrefs, SEMrush, BuzzStream, Pitchbox, etc.
  • Collaborate with content and SEO teams to create link-worthy assets.
  • Monitor backlink profile quality and disavow harmful links as needed.
  • Stay updated with Google link-building best practices and algorithm updates.

Community & Forum Engagement

  • Actively participate in discussions on Reddit, Quora, StackExchange, and relevant forums.
  • Provide value-driven answers and link back where appropriate.
  • Monitor relevant communities for industry trends and content opportunities.
  • Build thought leadership and trust across niche communities.

Skills & Qualifications

  • 2 years of experience in Off-page SEO (outreach and link-building).
  • Excellent written & spoken English and persuasive outreach skills.
  • Proven success in guest post outreach and contextual backlink acquisition.
  • Familiar with community engagement platforms (Reddit, Quora, niche industry forums).
  • Hands-on with SEO tools: Ahrefs, SEMrush, BuzzStream, , etc.
  • Ability to spot high-authority link opportunities and avoid spammy links.
  • Knowledge of the EHS, safety compliance, or SaaS industries is nice to have.

Employment Structure

Onsite in Mohakhali | Full-time
Salary: BDT 40, ,000
Benefits: 2 Annual Bonuses after permanent (probation is 3-6 months)
Work Week: Monday - Friday, 10 am to 6 pm BST
