We are seeking a
Deputy General Manager – Operations
to lead the end-to-end manufacturing and operational functions for our client which is a foreign owned, 100% export oriented manufacturing company. The role requires strategic leadership, deep technical expertise, and proven ability to manage large teams while ensuring operational excellence, cost-effectiveness, and compliance with international standards.

Key Resposibilities :

  • Oversee daily plant operations ensuring efficiency, safety, and quality.
  • Lead initiatives in lean manufacturing, automation, and process improvement.
  • Ensure compliance with international quality and regulatory standards (ISO/FDA).
  • Manage maintenance, utilities, and supply chain functions for seamless operations.
  • Drive cost optimisation and operational excellence while maintaining P&L focus.
  • Lead large, cross-functional teams and manage industrial relations effectively.

Profile Requirements:

  • 10+ years of leadership experience in manufacturing operations (automotive, engineering, medical devices, or related sectors).
  • Strong expertise in injection/blow moulding and assembly processes.
  • Proven experience in team leadership, cost management, and continuous improvement.
  • International exposure is essential.
  • Bachelor's/Master's in Engineering; MBA preferred
