Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Deputy Manager - Lab based in Dhaka. The Deputy Manager - Lab will oversee daily operations of the laboratory and ensure compliance with testing standards and procedures. Responsibilities include monitoring test accuracy, conducting staff training, troubleshooting instruments, maintaining records, and ensuring adherence to quality protocols. Collaboration with production teams to address challenges and maintain product quality is a key part of the role.

Qualifications

  • Expertise in laboratory operations, such as quality testing, calibration, and troubleshooting instruments
  • Experience with quality control procedures, compliance standards, and documentation
  • Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to train and mentor staff
  • Effective analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with teams
  • Educational background in textile engineering, chemistry, or related field is preferred
  • Familiarity with the apparel and textile production process is an advantage
  • Ability to maintain accuracy under pressure and meet deadlines
