About the Role

We are looking for a highly skilled and detail-oriented AGM – Finance to lead and optimize our financial operations. The role includes overseeing core finance functions, ensuring IFRS compliance, managing statutory audits, and driving process automation and efficiency initiatives. The ideal candidate must have strong analytical and leadership capabilities, along with hands-on experience in SAP.

Key Responsibilities

  • Monitor Finance Operations:
    Ensure accurate data entry in SAP and adherence to month-end closing timelines.
  • Financial Review:
    Validate COGS calculations, financial statements, and reconcile with plant performance reports to maintain IFRS compliance.
  • Forecast Analysis:
    Review P&L forecasts and reconciliation reports based on performance projections.
  • Audit Leadership:
    Lead external audit processes and represent the company to auditors.
  • Reporting:
    Prepare and share consolidated financial dashboards with management and inventory turnover reports with management.
  • Inventory Management:
    Continuously monitor inventory balances, identify excess stock and wastage, and recommend corrective actions.
  • Internal Audits:
    Oversee periodic asset and inventory audits to ensure alignment between physical and system records.
  • Process Automation:
    Identify and implement automation opportunities to eliminate manual and duplicate work.
  • Skill Optimization:
    Drive efficiency improvements through process optimization and automation.
  • Project Support:
    Collaborate on internal and external projects to achieve organizational goals.
  • SAP Management:
    Review and post critical entries in SAP.
  • Reconciliation Activities:
    Manage lease accounting, GL reconciliation, advance monitoring, and fixed asset reconciliations.

Qualifications

  • Master's in finance, Accounting, or related field.
  • Professional certifications- Qualified Chartered Accountant.
  • Min 5 years of experience in finance management, preferably in a multinational environment/Garment Industries.
  • Strong knowledge of IFRS and SAP systems (preferably with implementation experience).
  • Excellent analytical, leadership, team management and communication skills.
