Role Description

As the Vice President of DeFi Investments, you will lead Coinbase's strategic initiatives and investment activities within the Decentralized Finance (DeFi) ecosystem. In this full-time, on-site role based in Faridpur District, you will identify and evaluate high-potential DeFi projects, manage engagements with partners and projects, and work collaboratively with teams to assess market opportunities. Responsibilities include developing investment theses, conducting due diligence, negotiating terms, and overseeing the performance of investments while monitoring emerging technologies and trends within the DeFi space.

Qualifications

  • Strong expertise in Decentralized Finance (DeFi), blockchain technologies, cryptocurrency markets, and related emerging trends.
  • Experience in investment strategy development, due diligence, financial analysis, and managing investment portfolios.
  • Exceptional skills in stakeholder management, strategic partnerships, and team leadership within a fast-paced and innovative environment.
  • Proficient in negotiation, contract structuring, and risk assessment.
  • Bachelor's or master's degree in finance, economics, business, or a related field; an MBA or advanced degree is preferred.
  • Proven ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and foster a culture of innovation and strategic thinking.
  • Prior experience in the cryptocurrency or financial technology industry is highly advantageous.
