Software Project Manager

Job Type: Full-time (Onsite)

Job Context:

SEOPage1 was launched in 2012 as a content writing agency and has since transformed into a Web Development digital marketing agency. This is a full-time on-site role for a Software Project Manager. The Project Manager will be responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of our ERP software project. This includes expediting the completion of various under-development modules, managing inspections, and logistics management. The Project Manager will also be responsible for ensuring timely delivery. The job scope will include the followings:

• Taking over any project once the concept and the design is finalized.
• Sometimes, help the management with the concept creation, flow chart creation and design part.
• Coordinating between various stakeholders to make sure the chain is running smooth. Those stakeholders include the frontend developers, the backend developers, the QA manager, management and Sometimes other teams etc.
• Pushing the team to give a delivery/completon timeframe.
• Analyzing the timeframe given by the execution team to know if that timeframe is justified. If not, discuss and reduce that timeframe.
• Making sure the work is progressing as per the timeframe. The project manager needs to break the entire work into parts and submit the percentage of progression every day or once in every 2 days to the management so after the deadline is over, there is no disappointment on managements end due to the work not getting completed.
• Checking and authorizing the case scenarios the QA managers will create. Need to check if almost everything was covered and if the tests are progressing simultaneously as well.
• Explaining when the developers or any stakeholders have any concerns/queries and are not understanding anything.
• When something gets stuck for various reasons, try to come up with a solution and propose that to the management. If coming up with a solution is not possible, then ask for a solution from the management.
• Making sure there is no transitional delay from one party to another in the entire chain. Those transitional delay increases the time required for the project.
• When everyone is done with their work, finally checking the work to be sure that everything is working as expected. The project manager himself is responsible for the entire project/work.
• In every action he takes, making sure the company's interest is upheld and he shall counterbalance any attempt by anyone to manipulate the protocol set by the company or game the system.
• Understanding how our system works in general. Many of the day to day issues that come from the users require a good understanding of our system to solve them (more than the technical knowledge).

Qualifications:

• At least 5 years of experience in managing software development life cycle
• Experience in expediting, inspection, and logistics management
• Strong project management skills
• Excellent organizational and communication skills
• Ability to work well in a team and manage relationships with stakeholders
• Experience with Laravel and React ERP software is a plus
• Knowledge of software development processes and methodologies
• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience
