Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for managing effective and timely communication with customers and vendors
  • Responsible for the delivery performance of PD and Production
  • Effective/in-depth style RISK assessment at the PD stage
  • Aggressive PD and preproduction follow-up adhering to brand SOP & policy
  • Preparing all WIP / Trackers and should be Strong on maintaining TNA
  • Product development for buying season, orders follow-up, and liaising with suppliers and manufacturers for daily operational issues
  • Daily communication with Buyer / Vendor and responds to emails promptly
  • Review the development tracker regularly
  • Drive costing with vendors and obtain and negotiate costs with vendors in a timely manner
  • Discuss style allocation with the Team Head along with samples before sharing with vendors
  • Maintain and develop relationships with vendors and collaborate with cross-functional divisions
  • PLM Updation
  • In-depth Cost TNA analysis with factories/team
  • Proactively lead the daily execution of merchandising activities to achieve price, quality, and deliveries
  • Continuous business development with great product knowledge of Bottom and TOP covering all genders.

Qualification & Experience:

  • Graduate or above
  • 10+ years' experience with buying/trading house exposure as a must-have
  • Must have exposure to denim/non-denim woven category
  • Should have strong costing skills
  • Must have verbal and written English communication skills
  • Good MS Office knowledge, especially Excel and Outlook calendar
