Sustainable Development Operations Advisor

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and advise on the strategic direction of operations, ensuring compliance with UN/UNDP rules, regulations, and policies.
  • Oversee the day-to-day management of the Operations team, ensuring efficient and effective delivery of services.
  • Manage security of UNDP personnel and assets, ensuring the safety and well-being of staff and resources.
  • Ensure support to Field Offices and other clients, including UN agencies, through the provision of quality services and effective management of common services.

Requirements

  • Advanced university degree in Business Administration, Public Administration, Management, Economics, or related field.
  • Minimum 10 years of senior-level working experience in operations, with a proven track record of managing complex operations and programmes.
  • Strong leadership and management skills, with experience in leading large, diverse teams.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders, government counterparts, and international organizations.
