Managerial Responsibilities

  • Run the recovery shop by setting right direction and plan to minimize bank's declared loss and maximize bank's profitability by increasing recovery, establishing Central Bank and other regulators policy, process, guideline to minimize bank's risk.
  • Help management to make yearly budget projecting probable recovery based on developing new, innovative & appropriate strategies, finding new opportunity of recovery, ensuring optimum level of customer service by increasing people's productivity in a cost effective manner.

Functional Responsibilities

  • Developing new, innovative & appropriate strategies, finding new opportunity of recovery ensuring optimum level of customer service without compromising banks image.
  • Collaboration and proactive engagement with all cross functional stakeholders of the bank (internal and external)
  • Review of observations from ICC auditors and taking all necessary measures to ensure compliance.
  • Interact with legal division to intensify and expedite legal process to maximize recovery and compliance of legal issue. Interact with Bangladesh Bank, ICCD, Regulators and external auditors to get clarity based on new policies/guidelines issued. Meet queries of ICCD, regulators and external auditors accordingly with respect.
  • Minimize banks loss by contributing in Debt Charge and Maximizing bank's PAT.
  • Develop a balanced team through capacity planning, up skilling team's knowledge through on the job and of the job training and establish healthy working environment.

Education & Experience

  • 4 years of Bachelor's / Master's degree in any subject from any reputed university is required.
  • At least 15 years of experience

Technical Skills

  • Strong knowledge on Bangladesh Bank regulation
  • Strong knowledge about compliance/regulatory and law of the land
  • Strong knowledge about legal affairs specially N.I. Act & Artha Rin Ain process
  • Very good knowledge in App/System based software tools, Microsoft Excel, Power point, Word, and familiarity with other database management software is preferable
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in both Bangla & English

Behavioral Skills

  • Strong interpersonal and stakeholder management, with demonstrable experience of negotiating and influencing across a wide range of stakeholders
  • Ability to work under pressure
  • Able to drive a team with complex roles
