. Someone who understands how to rank locally and nationally, how to build authority through backlinks, how to optimize content for both users and algorithms, and how to turn organic strategy into measurable growth.

plan, lead, and outperform competitors
in the healthcare SEO space.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement
  comprehensive SEO strategies
  covering local search optimization, backlink outreach, and on-page improvements to grow organic traffic and leads.
• Research, identify, and execute
  high-authority backlink opportunities
  through guest posts, niche edits, and strategic collaborations with healthcare websites and publishers.
• Ensure
  NAP consistency
  across all directories and local listings for maximum credibility and trust signals.
• Perform in-depth
  keyword research, topic clustering, and semantic optimization
  to align content with user intent and search engine algorithms.
• Optimize all on-page elements, including
  meta titles, descriptions, schema markup, headings, and internal linking structure
  to improve rankings and click-through rates.
• Conduct
  content audits
  to identify gaps, remove duplication, fix cannibalization, and enhance the depth and authority of existing pages.
• Collaborate with writers to produce
  factually accurate, medically compliant, and SEO-friendly content
  that demonstrates E-E-A-T (Experience, Expertise, Authoritativeness, Trustworthiness).
• Track, analyze, and report performance using tools like
  Ahrefs, SEMrush, Screaming Frog, SurferSEO, and Google Search Console
  .
• Continuously monitor algorithm updates, competitor movements, and industry trends to stay ahead of changes in healthcare SEO.
• Work closely with the marketing and technical teams to improve
  Core Web Vitals, user experience, and conversion signals
  that impact organic performance.
• Execute outreach campaigns and build relationships with
  relevant healthcare blogs, influencers, and professional directories
  to grow domain authority.
• Maintain a balance between quality and quantity — ensuring every deliverable meets FC Billing's standard for excellence and accuracy.

Requirements

• 3+ years of proven SEO experience
  with measurable success in Local SEO, link-building, and on-page optimization.
• Deep understanding of
  Google algorithms
  ,
  E-E-A-T
  , and
  semantic SEO
  principles.
• Ability to
  research, plan, and execute
  both local and national SEO strategies.
• Proficiency in SEO tools like
  Ahrefs, SEMrush, SurferSEO, Screaming Frog
  , and
  Google Search Console
  .
• Experience with
  outreach campaigns
  and building high-quality backlinks from healthcare or niche-relevant sites.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills — able to
  reverse-engineer competitors
  and replicate success.
• Excellent written and communication skills for collaborating with writers and conducting outreach.
• Experience in the
  healthcare niche
  is highly preferred.
• Self-driven, organized, and capable of handling multiple projects under tight deadlines.

Compensation & Benefits
