Role Description
The Assistant Manager will oversee daily operations and ensure efficient workflow in the garments/textiles/buying and merchandising domain. Responsibilities include managing and coordinating production processes, monitoring inventories, collaborating with vendors and partners, and ensuring strict adherence to quality standards. The role also involves team supervision, performance monitoring, and data reporting to support business objectives. This is a full-time on-site role located in Dhaka.
Qualifications
- Experience in team management, leadership, and performance evaluation
- Strong knowledge in garment or textile production and buying/merchandising processes
- Skills in inventory management and vendor relationship management
- Understanding of quality assurance protocols, industry compliance, and manufacturing standards
- Proficiency in communication, negotiation, and problem-solving
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a result-oriented mindset
- Familiarity with market trends in garments, textiles, or merchandising
- Proficiency in office software and relevant tools; knowledge in ERP systems is a plus
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Textiles, Supply Chain, or a related field is preferred
