GM - Business Development
Job Description / Responsibility
- Develop and implement business plans and sales strategies to achieve company sales targets and profitability.
- Lead, manage, and develop the sales team, including setting monthly and annual sales targets.
- Prepare annual budgets, sales forecasts, and revenue projections for the department.
- Achieve assigned individual sales targets as set by senior management.
- Manage relationships and correspondence with foreign principals and suppliers, including negotiation and coordination.
- Oversee inventory planning, pricing strategies, and special project negotiations with suppliers.
- Identify new business opportunities, generate sales leads, and expand into new markets.
- Coordinate and support marketing initiatives to strengthen market presence and sales growth.
- Monitor sales performance, maintain accurate records, and provide regular reports to senior management, including competitor analysis.
- Ensure customer satisfaction, cost control, and compliance with company policies, procedures, and business ethics.
Educational Requirements
- Masters in Engineering (MEngg) in Mechanical Engineering
Experience Requirements
- 12 to 15 year(s)
- The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s):
- Manufacturing (Light Engineering and Heavy Industry),Group of Companies,Industrial Machineries (Generator, Diesel Engine etc.)
Additional Requirements
- Must have prior experience of leading sales team.
