GM (Finance, Banking, Trading & Product Sourcing)

Job Description / Responsibility

  • Develop, plan, and implement integrated strategies for finance, banking, trading, and product sourcing operations.
  • Conduct market analysis to identify profitable products, raw materials, and commodity sourcing opportunities.
  • Identify, evaluate, and select reliable local and international suppliers and vendors.
  • Negotiate pricing, contracts, delivery terms, and payment conditions with suppliers to ensure commercial advantage.
  • Prepare annual budgets, financial forecasts, and manage cash flow and fund planning effectively.
  • Maintain strong professional relationships with banks, financial institutions, and regulatory bodies.
  • Manage loans, credit facilities, LCs, trade finance, and all related banking documentation.
  • Analyze trading market trends, pricing, risks, and profitability to support informed business decisions.
  • Monitor interest rates, bank charges, foreign exchange exposure, and market movements to control financial costs.
  • Ensure compliance with financial, banking, trading, sourcing regulations, including tax and VAT requirements.
  • Establish and enforce effective internal controls, financial policies, and risk management frameworks.
  • Prepare and present regular MIS, financial reports, and business performance analysis to management and the board.
  • Coordinate with accounts, audit, tax, legal, operations, and sourcing teams to ensure transparency and efficiency.
  • Explore new trading lines, products, and sourcing-based business opportunities to support business expansion.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop finance, banking, trading, and sourcing teams to achieve high performance and operational excellence.

Educational Requirements

  • Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Finance & Banking
  • Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Accounting
  • Master of Commerce (MCom)
  • Skills Required: Trade Finance, Banks & Financial, Trading , Product sourcing

Experience Requirements

  • At least 12 year(s)
  • The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s):
  • Agro based firms (incl. Agro Processing/Seed/GM),Agro based Startup,Auto Rice Mill

Additional Requirements

  • Proven experience in dealing with banks, financial institutions, and regulatory authorities.
  • Hands-on experience in trade finance operations, including LCs, import–export documentation, and foreign exchange management.
  • Strong expertise in budgeting, cash flow management, financial forecasting, and risk analysis.
  • Proficient in ERP systems, accounting software, MIS reporting, and other computer-based financial tools.
  • Excellent leadership, negotiation, and cross-functional team management skills.
