Function: Partnership & Fundraising

Summary:

As the Senior Associate of Partnerships, you'll drive portfolio growth for SAJIDA's development programs by developing and executing strategies to secure funding. You'll oversee program lifecycle management and establish SAJIDA's thought leadership in the market for its programs. This pivotal role demands strong writing skills, strategic thinking, attention to detail, and the ability to effectively communicate the organization's mission and impact to potential funders.

Key Responsibilities:

Drive effective portfolio growth of SAJIDA's development programs

  1. Identify, build and manage relationships with key institutional partners
  2. Develop compelling concept notes and proposals that align with the strategies of the institutional partners and SAJIDA's program teams.
  3. Research and collaborate with program teams to conceptualize new initiatives for piloting
  4. Actively develop briefs, learning documents, and other informational materials to keep partners updated on SAJIDA's work

Establish thought leadership for SAJIDA's programs among partners

  1. Collaborate with communications and program teams to execute a diverse range of events aimed at spotlighting the programs
  2. Participate in regular field visits to stay informed about program implementations, enabling effective communication with external and internal stakeholders.
  3. Represent the organization at various events, meetings, and other engagements

Oversee SAJIDA's program lifecycle management

  1. Manage the entire program lifecycle—from application to reporting—ensuring compliance with requirements and adherence to deadlines
  2. Collaborate with finance and program staff to develop accurate budgets and ensure optimal utilization of the budget during program implementation.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field such as business, communications, marketing, public administration, nonprofit management, or others
  • 5+ years of work experience in a role involving strategy development, proposal development, partnerships, business development, or other related field
  • Strong writing skills, with the ability to craft compelling proposals and reports
  • Excellent research, analytical, and strategic planning skills
