Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced and well-connected Banking Partnership Manager to lead and expand PalmPay's partnerships with local and international banks and financial institutions in Bangladesh. This role will focus on developing, managing, and optimizing key banking relationships to support product innovation, fund management, and strategic financial integration.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in banking partnerships, fintech collaborations, or financial project management, along with established senior-level relationships across local banks and financial service providers.

Key Responsibilities1. Partnership Development & Relationship Management

• Build, maintain, and expand strategic relationships with banks, financial institutions, and payment service providers (PSPs).

• Serve as the primary liaison between PalmPay and partner banks to ensure seamless communication and collaboration.

• Leverage existing senior-level contacts in Bangladesh Bank, commercial banks, and NBFIs to accelerate partnership growth.

• Negotiate business agreements, service terms, and partnership frameworks that align with company goals.

2. Business Growth & Revenue Optimization

• Identify partnership opportunities to expand PalmPay's digital payment and lending ecosystem.

• Drive initiatives that enhance transaction efficiency, revenue growth, and financial sustainability.

• Support product launches and co-branded financial solutions with partner institutions.

• Regularly assess partnership performance through ROI and data-driven analysis.

3. Operational & Financial Coordination

• Oversee fund flow, settlements, and reconciliation activities between PalmPay and banking partners.

• Ensure all banking operations align with Bangladesh Bank regulations and compliance frameworks.

• Resolve operational or transactional discrepancies in coordination with Finance and Tech teams.

4. Stakeholder & Cross-Functional Engagement

• Collaborate with Product, Finance, Legal, Compliance, and Technology teams to ensure partnership success.

• Provide regular updates to management on partnership progress, key challenges, and new opportunities.

• Maintain effective communication with both internal and external stakeholders.

5. Product & Innovation Collaboration 

• Work with product and technical teams to design bank-integrated fintech solutions, such as payment gateways, EMI systems, and lending platforms.

• Stay ahead of industry trends to identify new business models and partnership opportunities.

• Support the rollout of new financial products by providing partnership-driven insights and execution support.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Business, Economics, or a related field.

• Minimum 7+ years of experience in banking partnerships, financial business development, or fintech collaborations.

• Proven record of working with banks, PSPs, or financial institutions in Bangladesh.

• Established network of senior-level banking contacts within commercial banks and regulatory bodies.

• Strong understanding of Bangladesh Bank regulations, payment systems, and fintech ecosystem.

• Excellent negotiation, communication, and relationship management skills.

• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

• Fluency in English and Bangla (written and verbal).

Preferred Skills

• Experience in mobile financial services (MFS), PSPs, or fintech product partnerships.

• Familiarity with fund management, settlement operations, and reconciliation processes.

• Exposure to cross-border payment systems and card scheme partnerships.

• Strategic thinking with strong commercial and analytical acumen.
