Bikroy is currently seeking a dynamic and skilled Manager for our Finance & Reporting team to drive strategic financial planning and execution, ensuring budgeting, forecasting, compliance, and value creation for shareholders. Department: Finance & Reporting

Job Location: Dhaka

Key Responsibilities & Duties:

  1. Managing financial accounting, monitoring, and reporting systems;

  2. Producing accurate financial reports to specific deadlines;

  3. Processing payments and invoices on time;

  4. Ensure that all relevant VAT & Taxes are paid at an optimum, on time;

  5. Monitoring and interpreting cash flows and predicting future trends;

  6. Developing financial management mechanisms that minimize financial risk;

  7. Conducting reviews and evaluations for cost-reduction opportunities;

  8. Work together with auditors to ensure annual monitoring is carried out;

  9. Developing and maintaining external relationships with appropriate contacts, e.g., auditors, solicitors, bankers, and statutory organizations;

  10. Keeping abreast of changes in financial regulations and legislation;

  11. Managing the company's budget;

  12. Responsible for maintaining records for office & finance expenditure;

  13. Set strategy, plan, and execute the plan for managing the Finance & Reporting department;

  14. Ensure the pricing and discount policy across the system.

  15. Ensure proper fund management

Educational Requirements:

  1. BBA/MBA with a Major in Finance and Accounting.

  2. Professional certifications like CA/ACCA or CMA is mandatory.

Experience Requirements:

  1. A minimum of 7-10 years of relevant experience and a good fit for a similar role (experience in e-commerce/tech platforms preferred).

  2. Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office, and strong analytical, communication, and leadership skills are also standard.

  3. Should have prior experience leading a Finance team.

Required Skills:

  1. Strong financial and analytical abilities are essential for assessing financial data.

  2. Advanced skills in Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel) and various accounting software (like Tally, QuickBooks, or ERP systems) are necessary.

  3. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are needed to explain complex financial information to diverse stakeholders.

  4. The ability to manage and mentor a finance team, providing professional development, is a key leadership skill.

  5. Strong time management, problem-solving, and a detail-oriented approach are crucial for accuracy and efficiency.
