
Manager, Strategic Procurement

Job Responsibilities:
- Drive change management initiatives to enhance processes, systems, and stakeholder engagement
- Represent the procurement function in senior leadership forums and contribute to organizational strategy
- Design and implement strategic sourcing plans aligned with organizational objectives
- Lead the contract lifecycle management process, including drafting, evaluation, renewal, and compliance monitoring
- Develop and maintain dashboards and reports using Power BI and Excel to track procurement data, KPIs, vendor performance, savings, lead times to identify improvement opportunities
- Conduct spend analysis, market intelligence, and risk assessments to support strategic decision-making
- Ensure compliance with procurement, VAT & Tax policies and support both internal and external audits
- Provide guidance to team members on data-driven procurement practices and process improvements
- Build and maintain effective relationships with key suppliers and internal and external stakeholders
- Support ERP/procurement system enhancements and automation initiatives
- Implement best practices and develop SOPs of Procurement processes
- Mentor and develop procurement staff to strengthen analytical and contractual expertise
Safeguarding Responsibilities:
- Ensure the safety of team members from any harm, abuse, neglect, harassment, and exploitation to achieve the program's goals on safeguarding implementation
- Act as a key source of support, guidance, and expertise on safeguarding for establishing a safe working environment
- Practice, promote, and endorse the issues of safeguarding policy among team members and ensure the implementation of safeguarding standards in every course of action
- Follow the safeguarding reporting procedure in case any reportable incident takes place, and encourage others to do so
Qualifications
Education:
- A Bachelor degree (preferably in Supply Chain, Business Administration, Finance, Operations Management, or Textile) from a reputed university
Experience:
- Minimum 8 years of relevant experience in procurement, strategic sourcing, and contract management including a minimum of 3 years in a leadership role
- Proven expertise in Power BI/dashboarding, analytics, and report automation
- Prior experience in the textile, fashion retail, or manufacturing sector will be considered an advantage
Preferred Knowledge & Skills:
- Procurement analytics, strategic sourcing, and category management
- Contract drafting, negotiation, and legal compliance
- Strong command of Power BI, MS Excel (advanced), and ERP/Procurement systems
- Proficiency in KPI monitoring and data visualization
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, negotiation, communication, teamwork and leadership skills
