Job Description / Responsibility
Job Responsibilities
Regional Sales Strategy & Revenue Leadership
- Own and drive cluster-level sales strategy to deliver revenue growth, market share expansion, and target achievement across multiple regions of the relevant cluster.
- Cascade national sales objectives into clear, executable regional sales plans through Regional Sales Managers.
- Set regional sales targets, territory priorities, and channel focus to maximize business penetration and productivity.
- Drive and Review daily, monthly, and quarterly sales performance, identify gaps, and take corrective actions to ensure target achievement.
Sales Leadership & Performance Management
- Lead, coach, and hold accountable Regional Sales Managers, ensuring consistent sales execution across multiple regions.
- Define clear sales KPIs, incentive alignment, and performance scorecards for regional and frontline sales teams.
- Drive a strong sales culture focused on accountability, discipline, execution excellence, and results.
- Identify high-performing sales leaders and build a robust succession pipeline through structured coaching and development.
- Ensure adherence to sales governance, compliance standards, and ethical selling practices across responsible regions.
Sales Operations, Channel & Market Execution
- Oversee end-to-end respective regional sales operations, ensuring effective execution of sales campaigns, promotions, and initiatives maintaining high integrity and business ethics.
- Monitor regional market dynamics, competitor activity, pricing movements, and customer behavior to drive proactive sales actions.
- Ensure distributor, agent, and channel productivity in line with approved sales and distribution strategy and aware about different types of risks.
- Conduct regular field visits, sales reviews, and performance huddles to drive execution rigor and ground-level impact.
- Leverage sales data, dashboards, and MIS to improve forecasting accuracy and decision-making.
Business Growth & Sales Stakeholder Management
- Lead regional business development initiatives to expand customer base, increase transaction volume, and improve revenue mix.
- Work closely with Marketing, Product, Operations, and Technology teams to address sales execution gaps and improve go-to-market effectiveness.
- Act as the primary sales representative of the cluster in senior management reviews and commercial decision forums.
- Provide market and sales intelligence to support strategic planning and product enhancement initiatives.

Educational Requirements
- Bachelor/Honors
- Masters
- Skills Required: sales and Distribution, Team Leadership, strategic thinking and planning skills, Highly interpersonal and communication skills
Experience Requirements
- 10 to 20 year(s)
- The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s):
- Banks, Telecommunication, Financial Technology (Fintech) Startup
Additional Requirements
- At least 3–5 years in a Regional Head or equivalent leadership role within a reputed DFS, MFS, or Telecom organization.
- Strong self-driven learning orientation with high personal initiative.
- Proven achievement motivation with the ability to set and uphold high performance standards.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to listen, understand, and respond effectively in diverse group settings.
- Demonstrated leadership capability with the ability to coach, mentor, and develop team members.
- Excellent communication and time management skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines under pressure, including in high-stress or critical situations.
