Assistant Manager / Sr. Executive

Job Description / Responsibility

Job Summary: We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Bookkeeper / Accounts Officer to manage and oversee our accounts department. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, ensuring statutory compliance, and supporting management with timely financial reporting.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage day-to-day accounting operations of the Accounts Department.
  • Maintain
    petty cash
    , vouchers, and supporting financial documentation.
  • Prepare
    monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
    .
  • Prepare and maintain
    salary sheets
    and related payroll records.
  • Calculate and process
    taxes
    , including VAT and income tax, in compliance with applicable regulations.
  • Maintain and update
    RJSC-related documents
    , records, and statutory filings.
  • Manage and ensure proper deduction, deposit, and reporting of
    VDS and TDS
    .
  • Maintain accurate books of accounts using accounting software, with a strong focus on
    QuickBooks
    .
  • Ensure proper documentation, record-keeping, and compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements.
  • Assist in audits and provide necessary financial information when required.

Educational Requirements

  • Master of Professional Finance (MPF) in Accounting
  • Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) in Finance
  • Master's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline;
    partly qualified Chartered Accountants (CA)
    are strongly encouraged to apply.
  • Skills Required: Accounts and Finance, QuickBooks, Financial Reporting, Preparing Salary sheet

Experience Requirements

  • 3 to 7 year(s)
  • The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s):
  • Multinational Companies, Financial Technology (Fintech) Startup

Additional Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Bookkeeper or Accounts Officer.
  • Strong working knowledge of
    accounting principles and practices
    .
  • Hands-on experience with accounting software, particularly QuickBooks
    , is mandatory.
  • Sound understanding of
    VAT, Tax, VDS, and TDS
    regulations.
  • Familiarity with
    RJSC compliance and documentation
    .
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
  • Good organizational and communication skills.
