Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site opportunity for a Startup Co-Founder (Managing Partner/Chief Business Officer) based in Dhaka, Bangladesh. The role involves overseeing daily business operations, driving sales and marketing strategies, performing market research, and cultivating relationships with stakeholders. You will lead the development and execution of business strategies, ensure alignment with company goals, and contribute to the growth and sustainability of the company.

We're looking for a Co-Founder (Managing Partner/CBO) to lead ebuy-infinity ; ebuy ∞) a next-generation premium online marketplace designed to deliver a premium yet affordable shopping experience to Bangladeshi customers. This is a ground-level opportunity to own, shape, and scale an e-commerce startup built on trust, technology, and smart execution.

What You'll Lead

A fast growing premium online marketplace based in Bangladesh. Our goal is to empower local businesses and create a trusted space for customers to conveniently shop for all their needs.

• Managing the Business :

Lead the business from the front line and run the whole operations as key manager and decision maker.

• Marketplace Growth & Strategy:

Design and execute the go-to-market strategy for a home-based, lean, outsourced-model startup, focusing on seller acquisition, buyer engagement, and profitable scalability.

• Vendor & Partner Ecosystem:

Build and manage relationships with sellers, brands, logistics partners, and fintech/payment providers to ensure smooth marketplace operations.

• Brand & Customer Experience:

Establish customer trust through consistent brand messaging, authentic product sourcing, and excellent post-purchase service.

• Operations Leadership:

Oversee day-to-day marketplace operations including seller onboarding, marketing performance, delivery coordination, and customer service management.

• Financial & Growth Planning:

Track GMV, CAC, LTV, and ROI while managing budgets, planning funding rounds, and driving investor communications.

• Culture & Team Building:

Recruit, develop, and inspire a small, agile founding team that values integrity, speed, and innovation.

What We're Looking For

Strong understanding of Bangladesh's e-commerce and logistics ecosystem (experience with local marketplaces or e-commerce startups preferred).

Proven ability to build or scale online businesses from early stages with financially sound and scalable strategies.

Experience in seller/vendor management, digital marketing, or marketplace growth.

Entrepreneurial mindset comfortable with uncertainty and capable of wearing multiple hats.

Familiarity with legal, compliance, and operational frameworks relevant to Bangladesh's e-commerce sector.

Financial discipline, honesty, and team-oriented leadership, with a data-driven approach to decisions.

Excellent communication, crisis management, and partnership-building skills.

Ability to mobilize funding or willingness to make a financial contribution if required.
