A fast-growing International Digital Marketing Agency is seeking an experienced Human Resources Manager with at least two years of hands-on experience in a technology-focused environment. The Human Resources Manager will drive people-centric strategies and processes, including recruitment, team building, talent development, performance management, office operations, and culture building, to support rapid growth, innovation, and exceptional client delivery.

The Role

Talent Acquisition, Team Building & Onboarding

  • Develop and execute recruitment strategies to attract top digital and technology talent.
  • Build high-performance teams by identifying skill gaps, designing career pathways, and creating an ongoing employee pipeline.
  • Manage full-cycle hiring: job postings, candidate screening, interviewing, offer negotiation, and onboarding.
  • Partner with department leads to forecast hiring needs and build diverse talent pools.

Employee Relations, Counselling & Culture

  • Serve as a trusted advisor to employees and leadership on HR policies, conflict resolution, and career development.
  • Provide one-on-one employee counselling and coaching to support professional growth, address workplace challenges, and enhance engagement.
  • Promote a collaborative, inclusive, and innovation-driven culture through targeted programs, engaging events, and effective communication channels.
  • Conduct regular pulse surveys and focus groups; analyze feedback to recommend improvements.

Performance Management & Learning

  • Oversee performance appraisal cycles to ensure goal alignment and fair evaluation.
  • Design and implement learning and development initiatives—such as workshops, e-learning modules, and mentoring programs—tailored to the competencies of digital agencies.
  • Track training effectiveness and adjust offerings to meet technology skill gaps.

Office Assets & Operations Management

  • Oversee procurement, distribution, and maintenance of office assets, including laptops, furniture, and peripherals.
  • Manage vendor relationships for general repairs, office supplies, and facility services.
  • Conduct regular inventory audits; maintain accurate asset records.
  • Coordinate office procurement processes—request approvals, purchase orders, and budget tracking.
  • Supervise attendance management by monitoring time and attendance systems, managing leave requests, and ensuring payroll accuracy related to attendance.

Compensation & Benefits

  • Administer compensation structures, benchmarking salaries against industry standards.
  • Manage benefits enrollment, vendor relationships, and compliance with local labor laws.
  • Recommend enhancements to benefits and perks that resonate with tech professionals.

HR Operations & Compliance

  • Ensure compliance with employment laws, regulations, and company policy.
  • Prepare HR metrics and reports, including turnover, retention, time-to-hire, and employee satisfaction, and present insights to leadership.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 2-3 years of HR management experience in a digital agency, software development firm, or technology environment.
  • Bachelor's/Master's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Proven expertise with applicant tracking systems (ATS) and HRIS platforms.
  • Solid understanding of employment legislation, talent-management best practices, and digital-agency culture.

Skills & Competencies

  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.
  • Analytical mindset with proficiency in HR metrics to drive data-informed decisions.
  • Ability to lead change, influence stakeholders, and foster a high-performance culture.
  • Proficiency with Google Workspace (Gmail, Drive, Docs, Sheets, Calendar) for collaborative document management and communication.
  • Experience with online accounting applications (QuickBooks Online, Xero, FreshBooks) for payroll integration and expense management.
  • Knowledge of Slack for team communication, channel management, and workflow automation.
  • Basic understanding of Project management tools (Asana, Trello, , Jira, Notion) to coordinate HR initiatives and cross-functional projects.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and HR software (if any)

Technical Requirements

  • Comfortable working in cloud-based, digital-first environments with multiple integrated platforms.
  • Ability to leverage automation tools and integrations between HR systems, accounting software, and project management platforms.
  • Experience managing remote and hybrid teams using digital collaboration tools.
