We are seeking a skilled Technical Writer to join one of our fintech product development team. The Technical Writer will be responsible for creating clear, accurate, and user-friendly documentation for our platform, which serves banks, fintechs, and payment service providers. This role requires the ability to translate complex financial and technical concepts into structured content for multiple audiences, including developers, system administrators, operations teams, and business stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

Documentation Development

  • Produce and maintain high-quality documentation, including:
  • Product manuals, user guides, and quick start guides.
  • API documentation and developer guides.
  • System architecture and integration guides.
  • Release notes and change logs.
  • Operational runbooks and troubleshooting guides.
  • Ensure consistency, accuracy, and compliance with company standards.

Collaboration

  • Work closely with product managers, solution architects, engineers, QA, and operations teams to gather information.
  • Participate in sprint reviews and product demos to stay updated with features.
  • Maintain alignment of documentation with evolving business and technical requirements.

Knowledge Management

  • Structure and organize documentation in an accessible knowledge base or portal.
  • Implement documentation templates, version control, and review processes.
  • Ensure documentation supports onboarding of banks, fintech partners, and internal teams.

Required Qualifications

  • Education & Experience
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Technical Communication, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience as a Technical Writer in software, fintech, or enterprise applications.
  • Skills
  • Strong ability to explain complex technical concepts clearly and concisely.
  • Hands-on experience with documentation tools (e.g., Confluence, MadCap Flare, DITA, Sphinx, or Markdown-based systems).
  • Familiarity with version control (Git) and CI/CD documentation workflows.
  • Ability to read and interpret APIs, JSON/XML schemas, and database models.
  • Knowledge of banking, payments, ISO 8583, EMV, tokenization, or CMS systems is a strong advantage.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience documenting microservices-based platforms.
  • Familiarity with payment industry standards (PCI-DSS, ISO 8583, EMV, UPI/UnionPay, Visa/Mastercard specs).
  • Exposure to cloud-native tools (Kubernetes, Docker, REST APIs, GraphQL).
  • Ability to create diagrams and visuals using tools like Lucidchart, , or PlantUML.
  • Understanding of agile software development lifecycle (SDLC).
