Role Description

This is a full-time hybrid role for an Executive in the Heavy Equipment Department, based in Chattogram. The Executive will be responsible for overseeing the operation, maintenance, and management of heavy equipment used in container handling and freight services. Duties include ensuring machine efficiency, scheduling maintenance, coordinating with team members, and adhering to safety standards. The role also entails some administrative work, including reporting and compliance with regulatory requirements, with the possibility of some remote work.

Qualifications

  • Experience in heavy equipment operation, maintenance, and management
  • Knowledge of safety standards and compliance regulations in the shipping and freight industry
  • Strong organizational and coordination skills
  • Proficiency in administrative tasks including reporting and documentation
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as Mechanical Engineering, Logistics, or related disciplines
  • Experience in the ICD or CFS industry is a plus
  • Ability to work independently and in a hybrid work environment
