Job Summary:

We are looking for a highly skilled
Engineering Manager
to lead our engineering and maintenance operations. The position requires a strong background in equipment reliability, preventive maintenance, and technical troubleshooting with a focus on improving
MTBF (Mean Time Between Failures)
and reducing
MTTR (Mean Time To Repair)
and
Mean Time to Resolve
.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and supervise the engineering and maintenance teams to ensure maximum equipment uptime.
  • Establish and monitor
    MTBF
    ,
    MTTR
    , and
    Mean Time to Resolve
    metrics for key equipment and utilities.
  • Plan and execute preventive and predictive maintenance schedules to minimize unplanned downtime.
  • Manage installation, modification, and commissioning of new machines and systems.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve chronic equipment issues through root cause analysis (RCA).
  • Coordinate with production, quality, and procurement departments for efficient operation.
  • Maintain detailed maintenance and reliability reports using digital systems or ERP.
  • Control maintenance budgets, spare parts inventory, and vendor management.
  • Drive continuous improvement and energy-saving initiatives.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Bachelor's/Master's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics, or related Engineering field.
  • Minimum
    7–10 years
    of experience in plant engineering, manufacturing, or maintenance.
  • Proven experience in managing engineering teams.
  • Strong knowledge of preventive maintenance, utilities, and automation systems.
  • Excellent problem-solving and leadership skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, AutoCAD, and ERP systems preferred.

  • Analytical mindset with data-driven decision-making ability.
  • Experience in
    FMCG / Packaging / Industrial
    sectors preferred.
