Role Description

This is a full-time role for a Jr. Executive, Accounts. The role is on-site and is located in Gulshan.

The Jr. Executive, Accounts will be responsible for :

  • Day-to-day accounting operations, including ledger maintenance, reconciliations, and financial record-keeping;
  • Prepare and file accurate tax/VAT returns in compliance with NBR regulations & submission of vat return monthly basis;
  • Monitor updates in tax/VAT laws and implement necessary adjustments for compliance;
  • Streamline accounting workflows using advanced software tools (e.g., QuickBooks/ ZohoBooks/ Tally/ERP Software);
  • Maintaining liaison with VAT/ Tax or other regulatory authority;
  • Maintain proper record-keeping of all income tax-related documents and transactions in accordance with legal requirements;
  • Monitor Inventory Management;
  • Ensure receiving and delivering materials properly as per documents;
  • Preparing Monthly, Half yearly and annual inventory reports;
  • Perform any other tasks or responsibilities as assigned by the supervisor or management.

Qualifications

  • Skills in Financial Management, Accounts Payable, and Accounts Receivable
  • Proficiency in preparing Financial Reports and handling Audits
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in maintaining Financial Records
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent time management and decision-making ability
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively
  • Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Capability of handling work pressure
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
  • Previous experience in a similar role is a plus; Freshers are also encouraged to apply
