Qualifications:

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proficiency in marketing strategies and social media promotion
  • Experience (or strong interest) in developing and implementing outreach campaigns
  • Ability to work independently, creatively, and remotely
  • Passion for supporting libraries, education, and research initiatives
  • Bachelor's degree in
    Library & Information Science
    or a related field.

Library Marketing Expert Responsibilities:

  • Plan and implement marketing strategies to promote library services and programs.
  • Create and share content via social media, newsletters, posters, and emails.
  • Promote library events like workshops, reading clubs, and exhibitions.
  • Build connections with educational institutions and local communities.
  • Monitor and analyze marketing results to improve outreach.
  • Enhance and maintain the library's brand image.
