CSM Bangladesh Ltd.

is seeking a
QA Engineer

to ensure the quality, functionality, and stability of our React, AWS Lambda, and PostgreSQL applications. You will work on both manual and automated testing (unit, integration, and E2E), identify and document defects, and collaborate with developers and designers to deliver reliable, high-quality software.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and execute
    test plans, test cases, and automated scripts

for web and mobile applications
- Perform
manual and automated testing

, including
cross-browser

and
cross-device

validation
- Implement and maintain
unit, integration, and E2E tests

using tools such as
Jest, Mocha, Cypress, Playwright
- Conduct
API testing

(Postman, Newman, Swagger, Insomnia) and integrate into
CI/CD pipelines
- Perform
regression, functional, performance, and security testing

to ensure stability before releases
- Track, report, and manage defects using tools like
Jira, TestRail, or Zephyr
- Write and execute
SQL queries

to validate data and perform database testing (PostgreSQL)
- Monitor quality metrics (KPIs) and provide clear reporting to development and product teams
- Collaborate in
Agile/Scrum

processes, participating in requirements reviews and sprint planning
- Contribute to
QA strategy, tools evaluation, and process improvements

to align with best practices

Key Requirements

  • 2+ years

of experience in frontend and backend QA testing
- Strong understanding of
QA methodologies, SDLC/STLC
- Proficiency with testing frameworks (
Jest, Mocha, Cypress, Playwright

)
- Hands-on experience with
RESTful API testing

(Postman, Newman)
- Experience with
CI/CD pipelines

(Jenkins, GitLab CI, Travis CI, or GitHub Actions)
- Basic
JavaScript, HTML/CSS

, and scripting skills (
Bash or

)
- Proficiency with
version control systems

(Git/GitHub)
- Familiarity with
performance testing tools

(k6, JMeter, Gatling, Lighthouse)
- Strong SQL skills and experience with
PostgreSQL

or other relational databases
- Knowledge of
security testing practices

and tools for vulnerability identification
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience testing
    AWS Lambda, Cognito, and S3

integrations
- Familiarity with
PostgreSQL data validation

and query optimization
- Knowledge of
WCAG accessibility standards
- Experience with
NoSQL databases
