Position: Head of Quality Assurance (Manager/Leadership Role)

Location: Gazipur, Bangladesh

Rose Sweaters Ltd., one of Bangladesh's leading sweater manufacturers, is looking for a 
dynamic and experienced Head of Quality Assurance
 to lead and strengthen our Quality Management Systems.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage the entire 
    Quality Assurance function
     for sweaters production.
  • Establish and implement a robust 
    Quality Management System (QMS)
     based on 
    AQL (Acceptable Quality Level)
     standards.
  • Build a strong and effective QC/QA organogram
     for the operation to ensure the right AQL output and consistent buyer satisfaction.
  • Apply vast knowledge of sweater knitting mechanisms, linking management, and finishing checklists
     to establish and monitor each process effectively.
  • Ensure compliance with 
    USA and European buyers' quality requirements
     (including inline inspections, final inspections, risk assessments, and compliance audits).
  • Develop and enforce 
    systematic inspection processes
     at every stage—
    raw material, in-line production, finishing, and final packing.
  • Build and maintain a 
    strong reporting system
     to track quality metrics and present insights to senior management.
  • Act as a 
    methodical and analytical problem-solver
    , driving improvements and root cause analysis.
  • Guide, train, and motivate the QA/QC team to ensure 
    right first-time production
     and continuous improvement.

Qualifications & Requirements:

  • Minimum 
    years of experience
     in sweater manufacturing with a strong focus on 
    quality assurance and buyer compliance.
  • Proven knowledge of 
    AQL standards
     and global 
    QA/QC methods
     followed by US & EU customers.
  • Strong understanding of 
    sweater knitting, linking, finishing, and packaging quality parameters.
  • Ability to design and implement 
    systematic QA procedures
     with proper documentation.
  • Excellent 
    analytical, reporting, and leadership
     skills.
  • Bachelor's degree in 
    Textile Engineering / Industrial Engineering / Apparel Manufacturing
     or a related field.
