Executive/Senior Executive

Job Description / Responsibility

1. Sourcing & Vendor Management

  • Analyze and segregate purchase requisitions (
    PRs
    ) based on item and vendor categories to streamline the procurement process.
  • Prepare and issue
    Requests for Quotation (RFQs)
    to vendors.
  • Enlist and maintain a roster of new suppliers to expand the vendor base and competitive options.

2. Negotiation & Purchase Management

  • Conduct negotiations to secure the best value for money, including terms for discounts, payment, and delivery.
  • Prepare
    Comparative Statements (CS)
    and
    Purchase Orders (POs)
    and submit them for necessary approvals.
  • Manage spot/cash purchases and handle emergency procurement needs as required.

3. Logistics & Delivery

  • Ensure timely delivery of goods and services to the designated factory or site.
  • Monitor delivery schedules and confirm the receipt of all goods at the site.

4. Financial & Administrative

  • Submit prepayment requests and vendor invoices/bills for timely payment processing.
  • Organize and maintain both online and offline files and documents for all procurement activities.
  • Work to resolve any vendor disputes or issues that may arise.

5. Reporting & Other Tasks

  • Produce regular reports on procurement activities, including cost savings, vendor performance, and delivery timelines.
  • Handle other related tasks as assigned.

Educational Requirements

  • Master of Business Administration (MBA)

Experience Requirements

  • 5 to 6 year(s)
  • The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): Manufacturing (FMCG), Cement Industry

Additional Requirements

  • A certified course on Supply Chain Management will be preferred.·
  • Demonstrates diligence, sincerity, and integrity, with a strong sense of responsibility in all assigned tasks.
  • Capable of performing effectively under pressure while consistently meeting tight deadlines.
  • Exhibits strong written and verbal communication skills, ensuring clear and professional interactions.
  • Possesses practical knowledge of ERP systems or Oracle software.
