Job Description 

This position is based in anywhere in Bangladesh.

  • Develop a viable and profitable plan for Sales & Distribution unit aligned with the organization's strategic goals and objectives.
  • Establish both annual and monthly sales objectives in line with BL's overall business strategy.
  • Develop annual operational action plans for the unit, taking into account the guidelines and targets as per business plan
  • Lead the execution of the action plan, direct any modification and revisions and present quarterly updates on progress to senior management
  • Partner with maintenance vendors, internal stakeholders, lessors and government authorities to ensure that site issues are addressed as per the defined SLA
  • Manages Technical employees to ensure that site acquisition is done as per the budget, rollout plan and business plan
  • Develop Regional budget including head count budget, OPEX to support the execution of business plan and also minimize cost to utilize optimum resources
  • Develop and maintain excellent relationship with local stakeholders and Govt. high officials,   Government bodies, LEA, or political bodies  by ensuring all legal and regulatory requirements
  • Identify training requirements to develop subordinates and manage performance of direct reports through objective setting, continuous support and feedback, and formal appraisal
  • Assist in performance management of indirect reports and implement proper talent review process by reviewing people and strategic leadership capabilities and provide clear feedback with future career track
  • Provide guidance to employees for their development and career planning and lead and coach staff
Academic Qualification
  • Bachelor's degree preferably in Telecommunications, Economics, Commerce, Marketing, Business Development, Business Administration or Communications. A post graduate degree is an advantage.
Job Experience Required
  • Minimum 10 years of business management experience, preferably gained from multinational telecommunications, technology and FMCG environments;
Required Capabilities
  • Advanced knowledge and experience in managing all sales channels;
  • Sound knowledge of customer service operations;
  • Basic knowledge of technical field operations and site acquisition;
  • Sound knowledge of business planning and budgeting, including use of ERPs;
  • Sound knowledge of telecommunications regulatory provisions in Bangladesh.
